Registration General Conditions

ESC Asia with APSC & AFC

ESC Asia with APSC & AFC is only accessible to healthcare professionals, associated press and other stakeholders in the science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.
By registering, you accept that non-healthcare professionals, including children, will not be able to access the Event area.

Payment and General Conditions

All registration fees are quoted in Euro (€).

Payment by cash in Euros and in Singapore Dollar will be accepted onsite

Registration fees are based on the date of receipt of the registration request. The prices indicated are only applicable if BOTH the registration request AND payment are received before midnight, Central European Time (GMT +1), on the relevant registration deadline date, otherwise, the higher registration fee will be applied.

Registrations will be acknowledged by email upon receipt of payment and a valid personal postal and email address. Incomplete addresses or agency addresses will not be accepted and will result in the cancellation of the registration.

Registration of ESC Professional Members & FESC by a third party and groups (if applicable)


Registration of the above mentioned members can be done through third party or group in “My ESC” following the below conditions:

  1. The ESC will not provide any information about delegate’s membership status and it is the responsibility of the person making the registration to provide the ESC ID and member status* of their delegates if they wish to register that delegate at the reduced fee. Care should be taken to ensure that the delegate has renewed their membership for the 2020 year.
  2. The standard fee selected at the time of registration cannot be changed to a member fee* at a later stage.

Payment of fees


Payment by Credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) can be made through the online services on our secured server. For security reasons, under no circumstances should credit card details be sent by email or fax.

In case of additional payments for extra orders or adjustments, a secured payment link will be sent by email.

Payment by bank transfer or cheque are accepted up to the late fee of 26 October 2020
Bank fees are the sole responsibility of the registrant and should be paid in addition to the registration fees.

Transfers must clearly state the name of the event and name of the participant, as unidentified bank transfers cannot be processed. If payment is made for more than one person or by a company, please make sure all names are indicated.

Cancellation or Alteration

Any cancellation or alteration of your registration must be notified in writing and will be subject to the following conditions:

• Until 26 October 2020: refund of fee minus 30% administrative charge.
• From 27 October 2020: no refund.

Please note that any refund will be processed after the Event.

Name Changes
Name change will only be possible for standard fee registrations.

  • Until 26 October 2020: name changes will be charged € 110
  • From 27 October 2020: no name changes will be accepted.

Should a delegate not attend the Event, for whatever reason, no further claims for reimbursement or waiving of fees can be made.

Modification of the programme
The ESC reserves the right to modify the Event programme at any time, which is published as an indication only and subject to change.

Liability Disclaimer

No right to further claims or waiving of fees will be possible should the ESC be obliged to alter the programme of the Event.

In the event of serious special or unforeseen circumstances or serious circumstances beyond its control, the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall be entitled to cancel or modify the dates of the event. Delegates shall not be entitled to compensation for any costs or damages incurred as a consequence of such a cancellation or change.
All delegates are urged to take personal travel insurance.

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) will not be liable for any theft or damage to property and/or persons caused on site during the Event, by any factor whatsoever, unless there has been a fault, intent or deliberate recklessness on the part of European Society of Cardiology (ESC).

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) shall not be held responsible in the event of poisoning or food intoxication during the Event.

Data Privacy Statement

The information collected during registration is subject to data processing to process your purchase and manage the event and related social event as well as ensure you get an invoice, badge, invitation letter, CME points and certificate of attendance.

Without this information, we will be unable to properly process your registration.

The recipients of the data are ESC Staff managing the registration process. The data collected will be kept by ESC for a maximum of 5 years after your last transaction or activity with us after which time your My ESC account will be closed and financial transactions will be kept for a maximum of 10 years for legal accounting purposes.

Personal data of delegates from Asia will be shared with Asian Pacific Society of Cardiology and Asean Federation of Cardiology, as co-organisers of the event.

Please be aware that during the event you will be scanned daily at the entrance of the event for security reasons. Furthermore when presenting your badge for scanning on an exhibition stand or during industry supported sessions during the event the following personal data can be retrieved by the corresponding exhibitor or industry: first name(s), last name(s), address, telephone, fax, email, and profile information.

In addition, please note that if you login to the ESC Events app to manage your programme, the following data will be transferred to the app supplier: first name(s), last name(s), ESC ID, and membership status.

During the Event, attendees, exhibitors, guests and others may be photographed and videotaped by ESC or its partners capturing the event. Some of these photographs or videos may be displayed by the ESC or its partners in future publications or materials connected with the event as well as social media. If you do not wish for your image to be displayed by the ESC, please go to the information desk or one of the registration desks onsite during the event to have a specific sticker added to your badge. Without contradictory instructions from your side, you hereby grant the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the irrevocable rights to record and use free of charge, on a worldwide basis and for the entire duration of protection of the rights thereto, on any and all supports or forms of media, your image, voice, name, photographs, and video on which you appear for purposes related to Scientific, Educational or Promotional Purposes. You hereby release, waive and discharge the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), its employees and independent contractors from any and all demands, claims, causes of action, damages and liabilities directly or indirectly arising out of any use of your image, voice or name pursuant to the foregoing rights grant.

In accordance with the chapter 3 of the European Regulation 2016/679 with regards to data protection, you have the right to request from ESC, access to and rectification or erasure of your personal data or restriction of processing concerning your data or to object to processing as well as the right to data portability.
