Tips for a successful and convenient congress experience

How to register for EACVI - Best of Imaging 2020?

Exceptionally this year, EACVI leadership have decided to offer complimentary registration to this online event. Access to science is available at no charge but pre-registration is mandatory.

To register, you will be asked to sign-in to your My ESC Account. If you do not have a My ESC Account you will need to create one during the registration process, this will take you two minutes to fill in.
Please note that group or third-party registration is not available and that delegates must register themselves. Register now

EACVI – Best of Imaging 2020 starts on Friday, 11 December at 8:30 and ends on Saturday, 12 December at 19:05 CET.

Who is eligible to register to EACVI - Best of Imaging 2020?

Registration is reserved to certified healthcare professionals, associated press and other stakeholders in the science, management, and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

Scientific Programme

How can I access the full programme?

The full programme is now available through the Programme & Planner online tool.

Exact starting times may differ slightly, please plan to join five minutes early to ensure you do not miss the start of the presentation.

Presentations will be made available On-Demand within 24 hours. All presentations will be available until 12 January 2021 for those who register to the online event.

Time zones

The official time zone is Central European Time. Please note that dates/times are automatically calculated according to your browser’s time zone.

Translation and subtitles

All presentations are made in English. Translations are not available.

How can I interact during the presentation?

Most sessions will have a Q&A window on the right of the presentation where you can ask questions and interact with other participants through the Forums. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

All posts should be made in English so the global community can understand and respond.

ESC term and conditions: Participants guarantee that the content he/she submits on the Forum is not obscene, threatening, harassing, deceptive, invasive of another’s privacy, offensive, defamatory of any person, illegal or otherwise deliberately intended to upset or harm other users. The European Society of Cardiology reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to edit, refuse to publish, and remove any user’s content from ESC Websites at any time and without prior notice.

Presenters are invited to consult their presentation(s) throughout the period of the congress to react on the comments and/or answer the questions.

At what time will my presentation be broadcasted?

We invite you to access your agreement form to find the details related to your contribution to EACVI - Best of Imaging 2020 including the date and time your presentation will be broadcasted.

Kindly consider that timing can slightly vary, therefore we advise you to connect five minutes earlier than your scheduled time.

Where can I find/watch my presentation again?

All resources from EACVI - Best of Imaging 2020 will be available on-demand until 12 January 2021 to all registered participants. All sessions will be made available on-demand 24 hours after broadcast.

How can I interact with the viewers during the broadcast of my presentation?

A forum is available to give speakers the opportunity to exchange directly with viewers. Your presence online in the forum at the time of your presentation would be most appreciated.

To enter the forum and interact with the audience:

  1. Connect to the platform on the day/time of your presentation
    Please note the times indicated are approximative, so we ask you to connect five minutes before and, if possible, plan to stay longer than your actual presentation duration to accommodate any delay in the broadcast.
  2. During your presentation you will see on the side a forum window. Use the chat function to enter the forum discussion. Each of your posts will be identified with your name and country, allowing the audience to recognise your contribution.

The forum is an area for scientific exchange rather than a questions and answers page.
