The Society of Cardiology of the Russian Federation (SCRF) is a nongovernmental scientific organisation of cardiologists and other health care professionals involved into research, clinical care and education in the field of cardiology and related disciplines.
The SCRF acts on the basis of voluntary membership, equality of members, publicity and legitimacy, scientific independence and alternative principles in solving of scientific problems.
The SCRF has the following aims:

enhancing and maintaining of education and training on cardiovascular diseases

assistance in the development of studies and clinical research

development of the SCRF National Guidelines in different fields of cardiology

organisation of the Russian National Congress of Cardiologists annually (every autumn)

development of scientific communications between the SCRF members and international collaboration.
