Italian Federation of Cardiology

The Italian Federation of Cardiology on behalf of the two Societies is in charge of:

• Relationships with the European Society of Cardiology, the World Heart Federation, the World Heart Foundation and other international cardiological Societies and Foundations;

• Relationships with national (Health Ministry) and regional Health Authorities, including CME and post-graduate schools.

• Planning and conducting a common policy of development of educational and scientific programs, finalized to promote:

  • optimal care, prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases;
  • professional educational and continuing formation;
  • standards and diagnostic/therapeutic guidelines;
  • relationship with Health Autorities.
