40th Annual Meeting of ANMCO

The 40th Annual Meeting of the Italian Association of Hospital Cardiologists (ANMCO), to be held from 4-7 June 2009 in Florence, will involve all branches of the Society. The main topics of discussion will be Acute Coronary Syndromes, Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Prevention and Nursing.

The Italian Federation of Cardiology on behalf of the two Societies is in charge of:

Relationships with the European Society of Cardiology, the World Heart Federation, the World Heart Foundation and other international cardiological Societies and Foundations;
Relationships with national (Health Ministry) and regional Health Authorities, including CME and post-graduate schools.
Planning and conducting a common policy of development of educational and scientific programs, finalized to promote:
- optimal care, prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular diseases;
- professional educational and continuing formation;
- standards and diagnostic/therapeutic guidelines;
- relationship with Health Autorities.
