Affiliated National Societies

Affiliated National Societies are cardiac societies and other professional bodies interested in cardiovascular medicine, which are based outside Europe and the Mediterranean.

Incoming President of the ESC Prof. Roberto Ferrari and President Prof. Kim Fox welcomed the new ESC Affiliated Societies during the ESC Congress 2008 in Munich.

Affiliate status allows cardiac societies that can not become members of the European Society of Cardiology to collaborate closely with society and its constituent bodies. Any national Society or other professional body with an interest in cardiovascular medicine may apply to the ESC for Affiliated Membership - more details here...
