Advanced Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology

23-25 February 2012 - European Heart House, Sophia Antipolis, France

FULLY BOOKED

European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC): 16 CME credits

Target Audience

Physicians who already have initial experience in invasive electrophysiology and catheter ablation.
Established electrophysiologists may experience a thorough review of state-of-the-art medicine.

The course is also designed to help fellows-in-training to prepare for the EHRA certification exam.

Course Objectives

The three day course will provide the participants with the knowledge about advanced Electrophysiology (EP) techniques, with special interest in ablation techniques and imaging applied to EP. But also, to help in the preparation of the EP exams, with the collaboration of the members of the Certification Committee of EHRA, that may provide some clues on the exam objectives and design.

The course also tries to achieve a close interaction with expert teachers, in a relaxed environment, that allows personal discussions during and between sessions.  There will be ample time to discuss questions and cases in the way they are presented at the EHRA EP Exam.

The course is available thanks to unrestricted educational grants from industries.

Course Director:
L. Mont (SP)

Co-Directors:
M. Antz (DE), H. Heidbuchel (BE)

Faculty :
J. Kautzner (CZ), J.L. Merino (SP), C. Piorkowski (DE), S. Priori (IT), D. Shah (CH), K. Zeppendfeld (NL)
