Prof. J. RTC. Roelandt's obituary

Friends and ESC colleagues were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Professor Jos Roelandt, a former chairman of the ESC Working Group on Echocardiography (1976-82) and president of the Dutch Society of Cardiology (1995-97). Professor Roelandt, who was Emeritus Chairman of the Thoraxcentre, Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam and a founding editor of the European Journal of Echocardiography in 1999, passed away at the end of August. The ESC sends its sincere condolences to his wife and family.
