Such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa. Please note, however, this does not bind the ESC to provide financial support.
Please check with your local embassy what documents are needed to obtain a visa for Germany.
EU Nationals do not require a visa to enter the Federal Republic of Germany
A visa will not be required for nationals of those countries for which the European Community has abolished visa requirements.

ESC Congress is accessible to certified healthcare professionals, associated press, industry representatives and other stakeholders in the science, management and prevention of cardiovascular disease.

- Access to the Emerging Technologies Showcase Area (ETSA), an exclusive area dedicated to innovative biotechnology, devices, software, equipment, products or services.
- Access to the Delegate Lounges.

- Standard, Emeritus Fellow and Nurses/Medical technician fees include a 2013 Online free journal subscription to either the European Heart Journal (EHJ) or Cardiovascular Research (CVR).
You can receive the paper version of your chosen journal subscription for an extra charge.

- Available to physicians, nurses and technicians, with proof of status: an official letter signed by your director for nurses. Valid on Saturday 25 August only, gives access to the ESC General Cardiology Track sessions, nursing sessions, opening ceremony, welcome reception, exhibition, Hands-on tutorials, ETSA and delegate lounge.
