Barcelona Airport, also known as El Prat, is the main airport serving Barcelona. It is located 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest from the city centre, in El Prat de Llobregat.

  The Terminal 1 at Barcelona airport is now open!
A new terminal which will welcome more than 100,000 passengers from Star Alliance, Oneworld and all flights for Madrid.

Come to Barcelona by train and save Euros !

The Renfe Railwork is glad to offer all ESC 2009 Congress attendees a discount of 35% on all trains to Barcelona coming from within and outside Spain
(discounts also available on Elipsos, SNCF and SBB trains).

To benefit from this reduced fee, please download and print the Renfe form and when booking your trip, it is mandatory to provide a proof of your attendance - registration confirmation


Barcelona by road

Barcelona has a large number of car parks, many of them located in the city centre. Parking rates range from 1.70 and 2€ per hour to around 22€ for a whole day. At some of these car parks you do not have to pay by the hour, you can pay in fractions of 5 minutes.
There are also paid parking areas in the street (blue zones + green area) and charges vary according to the zone.
Park-and-ride facilities, intended to dissuade drivers from bringing their vehicles into Barcelona, are located in the Plaça de les Glòries and provide convenient connections with the public transport network. Rates are 1.70 € per hour and 4.65 € per day.
