Frontiers in CardioVascular Biology 2010 closed its doors in Berlin with a total of 700 participants gathering on this new platform to exchange and discuss the newest developments in cardiovascular science.
The ESC Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science would like to express sincere thanks to all attendees, industry partners, Charité University and the City of Berlin for making this first congress edition a phenomenal success!

The Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science of the European Society of Cardiology (CBCS of the ESC) focuses expertise and enthusiasm of Working Groups within the ESC and Sister Societies outside, united by a strong interest in basic and translational science in cardiovascular research and medicine. As a forum for exchange in this area, the CBCS of the ESC has decided to hold a comprehensive basic science conference.
