Press representatives can register free of charge upon presentation of a valid press identity card or appropriate letter of assignment.

Press registration is conducted via My ESC (Individual Registration / Press) supported by presentation of your press card or letter of assignment with proof of 3 published articles together with the filled in and signed embargo form available here.

If your Press status is not validated by the ESC Press Office, you will be contacted by the Registration Team and the congress standard fee will apply.

Please register and provide your proof of press status well in advance of the Congress in order to minimise onsite queues and delays. Industry officials and their communications agents are not eligible for press registration. The decision of the ESC Press Office is final regarding all press registration requests.

INVITATION LETTER

You may download a personalised invitation letter for visa application purposes from our website.

Such an invitation is intended to help potential delegates raise travel funds or obtain a visa. Please note, however, this does not bind the ESC to provide financial support.

Please check with your local embassy what documents are needed to obtain a visa for Turkey.

A valid passport is required for entering the Republic of Turkey. Citizens from most European countries, USA, Canada and Australia either do not need a visa to enter Turkey or can obtain a visa at the Turkish border gates.

Participants should check their specific requirements when making travel arrangements.

Registration Fees

The registration fee entitles delegates to the following:

Entry to all scientific sessions and the Exhibition
Entry to the Opening Ceremony and Cocktail on Saturday 20 October 2012
A copy of the Final Programme and the Abstract Supplement
Refreshment Breaks (from Sunday morning to Monday afternoon)
1 year subscription to the European Journal on Acute CardioVascular Care (valid for 2013 in paper and online version) included in the following fees: Standard, member of the WG on ACC and Nurse/Student/Technician/Local Resident.
