Christi Deaton, FESCThe Council on Cardiovascular Nursing and Allied Professions (CCNAP) was officially launched in Barcelona on the 5 September 2006. The Council has been developed from the Working Group on Cardiovascular Nursing (established in 1991). You may read more on the development of CCNAP, its activities and future goals in the this editorial from an issue of European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing. In order to build a strong organisation we need highly competent and active professionals who are willing to commit themselves to this important and exciting development. We would like to invite all professionals that are interested in our field to join CCNAP. You can apply for membership electronically.
