Prof Pries & Prof Casadei talk Frontiers in CardioVascular Biology meeting

Prof Axel Pries and Prof Barbara Casadei, the chairman and vice-chairperson of the ESC Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science talk about the Frontiers in CardioVascular Biology congress.

Prof Pries points to the importance of having a meeting which brings together cardiovascular scientists as well as giving young people the chance to promote their work.

ESC Counicl on Basic Cardiovascular Science The scientific activities of the European Society of Cardiology depend upon research in the domain of basic cardiovascular science. The Council on Basic Cardiovascular Science was created in September 2004 to enhance the importance of basic science to clinical cardiology.
