Thrombosis

Our goal: to enhance knowledge of thrombosis in clinical cardiology in Europe

ESC Working Group on Thrombosis Logo

Prof Felicita Andreotti FESC, Chairperson

Most acute vascular syndromes are thrombotic emergencies. The recent explosion of antithrombotic drugs, vascular devices, and bleeding complications requires practicing physicians to understand thrombotic/antithrombotic mechanisms.

The goal of the ESC Working Group on Thrombosis is to disseminate knowledge on thrombosis and haemostasis. It does this by supporting basic/translational/clinical research, organizing courses/congresses/symposia, conducting/contributing to ESC task forces, and sponsoring exchanges and travel awards.
We welcome all those involved in the field.
