"The EHRA Educational Committee has the aim to provide high quality education through own material and through structured support of educational initiaves in the ESC countries."
Professor Hein Heidbuchel, Chair of the EHRA Education Committee
In order to meet that goal, the Committee formed the "EHRA Educational Framework" that acts as a central repository of educational events, cross-referencing to other activities.

Electrophysiology education follows two tracks: a Device Track and an Invasive EP Track.
These tracks are built around theoretical and interactive EHRA Courses, while recognising educational efforts by the Industry and by external organisers. Therefore, apart from providing the EHRA Courses, which form the backbone of the Device and Invasive EP tracks, EHRA will endorse or affiliate educational activities that fit into these tracks and supplement EHRA's own teaching efforts. Affiliation can be requested for activities that are oriented towards smaller groups in highly interactive and/or simulator-based settings (like Fellows Programs; other teaching courses, ...). EHRA can endorse external scientific congresses, organised by an independent program committee, that meet high scientific and educational quality. Affiliation and endorsement will be evaluated on request of the organisers. Requirements and procedures for each can be found on this Web site.
From 2011-2012 on, there will be 2 Invasive EP courses, Basic and Advanced, including a whole section on EP-related imaging techniques.
Both tracks may help in the preparation for the respective EHRA Certification Exams for those who wish to take these exams.
EHRA Theoretical courses:
Target audience: Electrophysiologists and Fellows in Electrophysiology
Other EHRA teaching courses:
Target audience: General Cardiologists
The live courses are directly to a specific target audience depending on the topic. Can be directed to General Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, allied professionals, etc...
All the educational and online courses are reviewed for accreditation by the European Board for Accrediation in Cardiology ( EBAC )
Complementary teaching initiatives:
EHRA endorses and affiliates scientific programmes. Check the programmes hereafter:
