EuroIntervention is a peer-reviewed journal of interventional cardiovascular medicine that has become one of the benchmarks in its field. Not only is it the official journal of EuroPCR and but also of the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI). The Journal is endorsed by the European Society of Cardiology and indexed on Medline/PubMed.

The Journal has a distinguished European and international editorial board led by Prof. Patrick W. Serruys from the Erasmus MC, Rotterdam.

Key Papers in EuroIntervention November 2008

Peter Mortier discusses bifurcation stent selection comparing drug-eluting stent cell size using micro-CT. “How should I treat” focuses on “Stent migration as a late complication following carotid angioplasty and stenting” with Fausto Castriota presenting his case with invited experts opinion from Eugenio Stabile and Marc van Sambeek. Stefaan Van de Walle summarises the interventional cardiology highlights of the ESC congress 2008.

    Tips & tricks from the experts for a successful submission leading you through how a paper is reviewed, accepted, and published. Also, “Publishing your statistics” - make sure you get your numbers right by participating in this workshop session.

In 2009


With the new year, EuroIntervention will be increasing its print edition to become bi-monthly. But it is not only the print journal that will expand, our recently redesigned website will be enriched with a whole range of multimedia content, from videos to ahead-of-print articles and archives. Continued attention will be placed on the evolution of our Editorial Board to reflect and be more responsive to advances in such areas as valve technologies. We invite you to join us, to submit your papers to us, participate in our EuroPCR sessions and fully exploit the content we are placing at your disposal. 

  

Call for papers

EuroIntervention extends to all EAPCI members an open invitation to submit original research clinical papers to the Journal. This invitation not guarantee acceptance for publication, since submitted paper will undergo the normal peer review process.

Manuscripts should be submitted via the dedicated submission website.

Subscription fees

  • Annual subscription is € 500 including the journal and supplements delivered to your specified address, access to the online version and the regular E-newsletters.
  • EuroPCR attendees automatically benefit from a free 1 year subscription (from May to May) to the journal.
