Purpose of the EAPCI Research and Training Grant Programme

The aim of this programme is to provide an opportunity for specialised research or clinical training in the interventional cardiology field, for medical graduates at any stage in their career but before obtaining a “permanent”, “senior staff” or "consultant" position, in an ESC regular member country other than their own.

The goal of this award is to give the opportunity to 'young' candidates from an ESC member country to broaden their clinical and research skills through a one-year maximum experience in cardiology practices outside their own country and enable them to contribute to the enhancement of their country's academic standards upon return in their own country as well as encouraging exchanges and interactions from country to country.

Eligibility

  • All applicants must be members of the EAPCI before applying. If you are not yet a member, join the EAPCI now!
  • All applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a country which is a regular ESC member. Check here if you are a citizen or permanent resident of a regular ESC country.
  • Applicants should be under 36 years of age on the day of application deadline.

General rules and application forms

Rules and Regulations for the 2011 programme will be made available from October 2010.
