Press Registration & Facilities

The European Society of Cardiology provides a fully equipped press centre at the ESC Congress. This includes the Official ESC Press Conference Room, and exclusive Press Working Area (with catering), Interview Rooms and the Press Offices.

Press registration

Press representatives can pre-register online or register on-site, free of charge, upon presentation of:

• a valid press identity card or appropriate letter of assignment with proof of three recent published articles (cardiology or health-related, or referring to a previous ESC Congress)
• the filled in and signed embargo form: Access the Embargo Policy  

The ESC Press Office will verify the documents  and advise if your Press Accreditation is validated. Else, the congress standard fee will apply. All decisions taken by the ESC Press Office concerning press registration requests are final.

Note: Industry officials and their communications agents are not eligible for press registration. They may only enter the industry press rooms.

Press badge pick-up

On-site badge pick-up, on presentation again of valid ID, is conducted at the Press Registration Desk and not in the main Registration Hall. Press badges have not been / will not be sent out in advance.

ESC Press Centre

The ESC Press Centre will include the following rooms and facilities: ESC Press Conference Room, Press Working Area, two Press Interview Rooms and both the ESC Press Office and Local Press Office (local language liaison and assistance).

The ESC Press Working Area, Press Conference Room and Interview Rooms are accessible only to registered press and speakers involved in the ESC press activities.

Industry representatives and Public Relations agents are not eligible for entry.  (Industry Press Activities are held separately in the Industry Press Rooms).
