Focus on Stent thrombosis: what are the lessons for 2009?

Dr Marco Valgimigli of the ESC Press Committee reviews two recent Circulation papers on stent thrombosis to help you see clearer... Aoki and colleagues report their findings on the incidence and predictors of early stent thrombosis in 3,405 patients recruited in the Acute Catheterization and Urgent Intervention Triage Strategy (ACUITY) trial. Werkum and colleagues report on the Dutch stent thrombosis registry.
