Scientific Content at the Heart of the Spring Summit 2009

ESC President Professor Roberto Ferrari and his Board invite the ESC international leadership to participate in this year’s Spring Summit.

Representatives from the ESC National Societies, Working Groups, Associations and Councils* will meet at the European Heart House in Sophia Antipolis for two days, 4-5 March. If you have received an invitation, but not yet replied please confirm your participation without delay here

The Spring Summit is the perfect occasion each year for the family members of the European Society of Cardiology organisation to meet and exchange views, analyse and discuss the achievements since last year, but most of all to bring our minds together to discuss the future tasks and evolvement of the ESC. We therefore strongly encourage the Constituent Bodies to actively participate in this event.

What is new this year?

There will be a high level of interactivity this year, with one of the two days dedicated to in-depth discussion on topics such as registries and joint scientific sessions during national congresses.

A workshop session is set up for this purpose, allowing the participants to work together and exchange ideas and experiences across Europe.

Bring your questions

You will also get the latest information in the various areas that concerns you, and be able to ask questions to the presenters. As it was the case last year – and with success - interactivity from the audience is strongly encouraged, so prepare your questions beforehand in the topics listed in the agenda:
