ESC National Cardiac Societies

56 National Cardiac Societies from European and Mediterranean countries - diversity is our strength

The European Society of Cardiology was founded by National Cardiac Societies from across Europe. Today, the 56 National Cardiac Societies and the ESC share a common goal of reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease, which remains the leading cause of death in Europe. They are both committed to disseminating scientific knowledge,  acting in the interests of patients and representing the community of cardiovascular professionals.
