EAPCI - First certified in interventional cardiology
The first certificate of excellence in training in interventional cardiology was awarded to Doctor Marc Hartmann from Thorax Centrum Twente in Enschede, the Netherlands during the ESC Congress 2014 Inaugural session.

EHRA Cardiac Pacing, ICD and Cardiac Resynchronisation in RUSSIAN
Covering pacing, ICDs and CRT, this course will be directed by Doctor Haran Burri and will be combined theoretical lectures, troubleshooting case presentations and mock exams. This course will be in Russian with simultaneous translation from English.

09 October - 11 October 2014
Basic Invasive Cardiac Electrophysiology
The cases are supplemented by short slide-presentations, highlighting some aspects and/or literature evidence. Interaction with the audience will be stimulated by voting. The results are shown anonymous.

18 October - 18 October 2014
EACVI Teaching Course - Echocardiography for trainees (EACVI Club 35)
Learning objectives: basic knowledge and advance insight into valvular heart disease, diastolic function, stress echo, speckle tracking and 3D, with practical hands-on sessions on work-stations.
