Prevention in your country

The EAPC publishes CVD prevention reports, prepared by National CVD Prevention Coordinators, to facilitate the sharing of best practice and inspire health professionals in the field of preventive cardiology.

7 country reports were published in 2016 for Austria , Belgium, Denmark, France, Hungary, Romania and Switzerland.

Smoking Cessation Awareness

Smoking remains a leading cause of heart disease and death.

The European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) launched two animated videos – for teenagers and adults – to highlight the importance of smoking cessation and how it can prevent cardiovascular events.

However long you have been smoking, now is a good time to quit!
