StageHFpEF
Advancing risk stratification in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction
StageHFpEF is an international, multicentre observational study evaluating an echocardiographic staging system for patients with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
The project brings together routine echocardiographic findings in a biologically driven classification designed to support risk stratification and prognosis. The prospective study is registered as NCT06931015 and is coordinated by Anastasia Shchendrygina.
Who can contribute?
The collaborative network welcomes centres and investigators with an interest in:
- Heart failure
- Cardiovascular imaging and echocardiography
- Clinical outcomes research
- Multicentre cardiovascular studies

MVP-RISK
Building individualised risk prediction for arrhythmic mitral valve prolapse
MVP-RISK is a retrospective, multicentre study aiming to develop and validate an individualised risk model for patients with arrhythmic mitral valve prolapse.
The project combines clinical, ECG, Holter, echocardiographic and cardiac magnetic resonance data to predict serious arrhythmic outcomes. Because these events are rare, collaboration between centres is essential to create a sufficiently large international cohort.
Who can contribute?
Cardiology centres are invited to:
- Identify eligible patients with arrhythmic mitral valve prolapse
- Contribute de-identified clinical, arrhythmia and imaging data
- Participate in an international multicentre research collaboration
A ready-made electronic case report form is available to facilitate data contribution.

Value-Based Aortic Stenosis Care Pathway
Redefining cardiovascular excellence through integrated care
How can healthcare systems improve patient outcomes while making better use of resources?
Marcelo Haertel Miglioranza and the team at Unimed Porto Alegre are applying a value-based healthcare approach to a specialised aortic stenosis care pathway. Building on an organisational framework designed to align clinical outcomes, patient experience and resource efficiency, the initiative focuses on delivering measurable value for patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
Who should get involved?
We welcome dialogue with professionals and organisations interested in:
- Value-based healthcare
- Structural heart disease programmes
- TAVI pathways and service delivery
- Quality and outcomes measurement
- Healthcare transformation and innovation
The project team is seeking opportunities to exchange experiences, share best practices and explore how value-based cardiovascular care models can be implemented and adapted across different healthcare environments.
