OUR MISSION: TO REDUCE THE BURDEN OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE
The University of Bologna International Masters Degree in Pulmonary Vascular Diseases is the first worldwide post-graduate course dedicated in particular to pulmonary hypertension.
The objective of the Masters Degree in Pulmonary Vascular Diseases is to provide education in the theory and practical training in the diagnosis and the treatment of patients with diseases of the cardiovascular and respiratory systems involving the pulmonary circulation. Special attention is also devoted to the principles and conduct of clinical trials.
Lectures are given by international opinion leaders in the pulmonary vascular science. The attendees are directly involved in the daily activities of one of the most renowned international centres in the management of patients with pulmonary vascular diseases.
This annual educational initiative chaired by Professor Nazzareno Galiè was established in 2006 and has been attended by physicians from Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, Finland, Greece, Israel, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States of America.
