Dear colleagues
2019 has been an active year for the ESC Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases. One of the highlights of the year has been the 16th annual conference held in A Coruña, Spain, on October 4-5.
The 2-day meeting was well-attended by participants from over 35 countries, included 18 scientific sessions and over 100 abstract discussions and posters. Over 90% of the participants found the meeting “good” or “excellent” in their evaluation. The ESC Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases wants to thank the participants for their active presence in the meeting, the local host Professor Monserrat for his immense efforts to materialise the meeting and the Scientific and Organising Committees as well as the ESC Supervisors and Coordinators.
A number of scientific activities are planned by the ESC Working Group on Myocardial & Pericardial Diseases for 2020. The members will be kept up-to-date through the newsletter.
