Dear Members,
Summer is now over. While we hope to meet you in person very soon, we acknowledge a successful ESC Congress 2021 Digital Experience, with exciting sessions and vibrant science being presented, new trials and new guidelines. Our WG of course had its visibility. In particular, the WG awarded 2 young members for best abstract presentation in the WG field (acknowledgement and financial prize of 500€). Hence we really want to congratulate:
- Miss Swati Srivastava from Germany for her abstract entitled: "Gpr126 domains control different cellular mechanisms of ventricular chamber development"
- Miss Lorena Perez Carrillo from Spain, for her abstract entitled "Implication of sphingolipid metabolism gene dysregulation and cardiac sphingosine-1-phosphate accumulation in heart failure".
It’s always a pleasure for us to promote the best science from young investigators.
Hopefully the vaccination campaign goes on faster and faster, and we can enjoy a great Fall.
