Our mission is to become a worldwide reference for education in the field for all professionals involved in the process to disseminate knowledge & skills of Acute Cardiovascular Care.
Our mission is to promote excellence in clinical diagnosis, research, technical development, and education in cardiovascular imaging in Europe.
Our mission is to promote excellence in research, practice, education and policy in cardiovascular health, primary and secondary prevention.
Our mission is to reduce the burden of cardiovascular disease in Europe through percutaneous cardiovascular interventions.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life of the population by reducing the impact of cardiac rhythm disturbances and reduce sudden cardiac death.
Our mission is to improve quality of life and longevity, through better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart failure, including the establishment of networks for its management, education and research.
The ESC Working Groups' goal is to stimulate and disseminate scientific knowledge in different fields of cardiology.
The ESC Councils' goal is to share knowledge among medical professionals practising in specific cardiology domains.
OUR MISSION: TO REDUCE THE BURDEN OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE
The interdisciplinary nature of the Working Group on e-Cardiology, where cardiologists, engineers and scientists can discuss up-to-date technological applications and clinical research from different points of view, represents an added value.
Thus this Working Group is involved and takes part in many congresses and meetings, such as:
- Friday 07 April 2017 (3 Days)
Med-e-Tel, The International eHealth, Telemedicine and Health ICT Forum is the official event of the International Society for Telemedicine & eHealth.
Some of the highlights of the Med-e-Tel 2017 conference program will include roundtables organized in collaboration with Luxembourg's National eHealth Agency (Agence eSanté) on artificial intelligence and multidisciplinary consultation meetings, a track on smart technologies for independent/assisted living and active/healthy ageing, pharmacy and m/eHealth, open source software in healthcare, quality in telehealth services, and the quality of mHealth apps.
- Thursday 22 June 2017 (5 Days)
Organised by the Council on Basic Science: Inspire a new generation of basic cardiovascular science leaders taken from among the most gifted science and medical graduates - Provide opportunities to meet face-to-face role models from an expert faculty of successful cardiovascular scientists.
- Saturday 24 June 2017 (3 Days)
The conference is mainly dedicated to the e-health systems, medical bioengineering and biomedical engineering, but also addresses related fields.
This year the conference motto is "Developing technologies for a better tomorrow" and we have to stress that the sub-domains and topics of medical bioengineering and biomedical engineering represent fundamental pillars for the reinforcement of medical research and of health care.
- Wednesday 27 September 2017 (4 Days)
Computing in Cardiology (formerly Computers in Cardiology) is an international scientific conference endorsed by the ESC Working Group on e-Cardiology. CinC provides an International forum for scientists and professionals from the fields of medicine, physics, engineering and computer science to exchange on current developments and to stimulate multidisciplinary research on Computing in Cardiology.
