ESC Working Group on Development, Anatomy and Pathology news

Cardiovascular Development and Anatomy
ESC Working Groups
Pathophysiology and Mechanisms

Dear Members,

The ESC is trying to help all the Working Groups to become more visible and effective in developing their planned activities.

A primary goal of this policy is to improve communication within our working group. To do this we have a new Newsletter (sent every 2 months to all working group members) which links to our web pages - which we will be restructuring in 2019.

I will also write a personal note to let you know about progress in the areas our working group is trying to develop, pointing out publications from our members and reminding our community about upcoming events.

This month, we invite you to join our online directory. Please log-in to 'MyESC' and follow these instructions:

  1. In the dropdown menu under your name/ ESC ID click on “my directory profile”
  2. Under the section "My directories" (left menu) click on 'WG on Development, Anatomy & Pathology Members directory'
  3. Click 'join directory' and make sure to update your profile.

I would appreciate you let your lab members know about this specific action and encourage them to join our Working Group and our directory. It is particularly important for us that our younger members do this in order to vote in the Young Community elections.

On a final note, in order to properly highlight publications within the Working Group we would appreciate if you could send the title and DOI of each paper that you publish to Bill Chaudhry, our Web Editor so that we can put them in the Newsletter and on our website.

Best wishes and Merry Christmas,

J.M. Pérez-Pomares
