Editorial August 2020

ESC Working Group on Development, Anatomy & Pathology

Dear colleagues,

Hope this newsletter finds you and your close ones doing well in these difficult times.

As you already know, the ESC Congress is facing this year the challenge of a full Digital Experience. I strongly encourage you to explore the on-line programme, which is as exciting as usual. In this newsletter we have highlighted some of the presentations that might interest you the most, but there is of course much more than that planned for the 2020 ESC Congress!

This editorial is also the last one I address to you as Chairperson of the ESC Working Group on Development, Anatomy and Pathology. I have proudly held this responsibility for two years (2018-2020), and done my best to promote our interests and represent all of you in the ESC arena. It is now the turn of my colleague and friend Maurice van den Hoff to lead this unique community of scientists towards a new horizon of success. I wish him all the best, and beg you to support him as you did support me in the past.

With my best wishes,

Jose M. Pérez-Pomares

ESC WG DAP Chairperson
