Dear Members,
Over the period of the last two nucleus meetings we have finalized the constitution of the non-voting members of our nucleus. In addition to two previous non-voting members, Olivia Manfrini and Daniela Trifunovic, it gives us a great pleasure to announce three new non-voting nucleus members.
The core of the working group joined Professor Filippo Crea, from Italy, Editor in chief of the European Heart Journal, with main scientific interest on inflammation, atherosclerosis and microvascular dysfunction. Other two new non-voting members are Professor Tomasz Guzic, from Poland and United Kingdom, Editor in chief of Cardiovascular research with main interest on the molecular mechanisms of atherosclerosis and oxidative stress, and Professor Charalambos Antoniades, from United Kingdom, deputy Editor of Cardiovascular research with main interest on adipose tissue, oxidative stress and inflammation.
We believe that the presence of these non-voting members with their vast knowledge and expertise will give a fresh perspective on the scientific and educational activities of our working group.
