Message from the Chairperson of the ESC Working Group on Cellular Biology of the Heart

Dear Members,

I hope you had an enjoyable and restful holiday break. Despite our hopes to finish with 2020 and emerge into a new year with the virus a distant memory, it seems we are not yet out of the woods.

Indeed, many of you will have been called into support clinical efforts, or, like myself in the United Kingdom, will be re-entering a lockdown situation. Meanwhile, the ESC continues to organise virtual meeting and webinars, which are a terrific way to keep in contact and discussing cardiovascular science, as well as being an excellent source of up-to-date information. Details about these can be found on the ESC web pages.

More specifically, our working group of Cellular Biology of the Heart is organising a webinar on exosomes on 23 February. I hope to see you there!

On behalf of the Working Group nucleus,

Sean Davidson, Chairperson 2020-2022
