As of October 2007 Fundamental and Clinical Pharmacology has become the new journal affiliated with the Working Group on Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Drug Therapy (WG). It publishes reports describing important and novel developments in fundamental as well as clinical research relevant to drug therapy.
The journal is indexed in major library databases, including Medline, and the current impact factor of 1.771 has been increasing the last three years.

Importantly, the journal will feature specific and readily visible publication space for the WG, identified by the WG Pharmacology logo, which is dedicated to editorials, guidelines, recommendations and consensus papers.
