ESC Working Group on Cardiac Cellular Electrophysiology

ESC Working Groups

Dear members,

Another year is coming to an end, and I am sure we are all hoping for a more normal 2022, where we will be able to meet in person several times.

The preparation for our 46th EWGCCE Annual Meeting in Toledo (Spain) is moving forward, and dates are fixed for the first weekend of June. Save the date and stay tuned for more details and deadlines. Besides our stand-alone meeting, we could also meet at the EHRA congress in Copenhagen (Denmark), and at the FCVB in Budapest (Hungary), where our WG offer travel grants for members.

We also want to remind you that the call for our Scientific Exchange Grants is open until the 16th of January. We are offering up to 2 grants of 2,500€ to early career investigators active in the area of cardiac cellular electrophysiology and members of the WG at the time of the application, to cover travelling and accommodation costs to work for a minimal period of 1 month in a host institution of a different European Country.

Also, please remember that – unless you have done it already - you need to renew your free WG membership by the end of the year, to keep your member benefits. It’s easy to do – just sign into your My ESC account, go to My Membership and select ‘Manage’.

Our best wishes for a nice holiday season, and a great start of the New Year!
On behalf of the Working Group nucleus,
Elisa Passini, Communication Coordinator 2020-2022
Ana M Gómez, Chairperson 2020-2022
