Dear members of the ESC Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology,

Our WG aims at bridging the gap between clinical cardiology and vascular biology, and to gather all ESC members with an interest in either one of them or both.

Do not miss our symposium on Imaging of the Vulnerable Atherosclerotic Plaque - Biological Insights that will take place in Maastricht, The Netherlands on 25 May 2019, just before the congress of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS). Whether or not you are attending the EAS meeting, you are most welcome to our symposium.

Our working group also has several close interactions with other working groups and councils of the ECS.

We are always open to ideas and initiatives from the Working Group members so do not hesitate to contact us.

On behalf of the Working Group nucleus,

Prof. Magnus Back

Chairperson of the ESC Working Group on Atherosclerosis and Vascular Biology

Department Of Cardiology, Karolinska University Hospital, Stockholm – Sweden
