Dear friends and colleagues!
The event of the year, the annual ESC congress, is approaching fast, and I hope to meet all of you in good spirits in Paris!
Before we started into our summer schedule we experienced a smaller but in all terms great event for us a Working Group. Together with the ESC Working Group on Thrombosis we organized a “Joint Educational Training Programme (ETP)” which took place on 12-14 June 2019 at the European Heart House, in Sophia Antipolis, France. The topic of the course was “Antithrombotic Therapies: Clinical challenges and future directions".
The course was attended by 68 participants, with good participation form our WG. The spirit was great and the topics well chosen and appreciated.
Besides scientific interest we enjoyed the company of each other
These events are so much needed, as it shows that we have to join forces within different specialties to take care of our patients with the best background with regard to up to date medical knowledge.
Another possibility will be the upcoming ESC meeting in Paris. We have chosen some sessions out of the ones we were able to place as a WG, which we might find interesting for all of us.
With the best wishes for a hopefully really relaxing, energy busting summer for all of you!
