ESC Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease

Dear members of the Working Group on Adult Congenital Heart Disease,

After a long period during which scientific congresses have been impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, we are all expecting with great enthusiasm the next European meeting of our Working Group. The EuroACHD 2022 (formerly known as EuroGUCH) is planned to be our first WG in-person meeting for the past 2 years and is going to be held in the beautiful city of Rotterdam (12-13 April 2022). On Monday 11 April, a hands-on echocardiography in ACHD workshop will also be offered.

The scientific programme will be organised in different sessions, providing the latest updates by excellent speakers, and showcasing the most promising research in the fields of congenital cardiology. All the sessions provide unique opportunities for networking and interaction with world-leading experts.

You also have the chance to share your research in the field. The abstract submission period is already open (deadline 21 January 2022). We are looking forward to receiving your valuable work.

Finally, note that the ESC Working Groups have switched from a lifetime membership to an annual membership. The expiry date has been set to 31 December 2021. Please, do not forget to renew your membership. For your convenience, you can opt for an automatic renewal. It's easy to do: sign into your My ESC account, go to ‘My Membership’ and select ‘Manage’.

Looking forward to meeting you soon,

On behalf of the Working Group nucleus,

Laura Dos. Communication Coordinator of the ACHD Working Group 2020-2022.
