We are delighted to welcome you to ESC Congress 2023 in Amsterdam from Friday, 25 August to Monday, 28 August. 

Here you will find everything you need to have an enjoyable experience.

The FESC Lounge offers 5-star service and everything you need to make the most out of your congress experience - this is your dedicated place to network, watch sessions, enjoy refreshments and catch up on your work.

  • Pick up your complimentary copy of the 2023 ESC Pocket Guidelines, from Friday, 25 August
  • Browse ESC journals with free copies to take home
  • Read selected articles from each ESC journal via QR codes
• New Elected FESC: collect your certificate, scarf and pin from the dedicated desk in the Lounge
• Private meeting rooms: two dedicated rooms for private meetings are available to FESC. Please book these at the FESC Lounge welcome desks

Where to find the FESC Lounge

The FESC Lounge is located in the Lounge & Exchange Area on the ground level just after the Welcome Area.

Your dedicated membership team will be delighted to welcome you at the following times:

FESC Lounge opening hours

• Friday, 25 August – Sunday, 27 August 2022: 08:00–18:00
• Monday, 28 August: 08:00–17:00

As a FESC, you may also freely use the ESC Professional Members Lounge. This may be convenient if you need to meet with an ESC Professional Member who is not a FESC yet.

The ESC Professional Members Lounge is located in the Lounge & Exchange Area, next to the FESC Lounge. Please show your FESC badge to enter.

Newly elected FESC

To welcome you to your first ESC Congress as  FESC, you are invited to:

• Visit the FESC Lounge to collect your FESC scarf, pin and certificate. Take this opportunity to get a photo taken by a professional photographer with your scarf and certificate.
• Join other newly elected FESC from across the world for a welcome cocktail on Friday, 25 August in the FESC Lounge from 16:30 to 17:15.
• Take your front row seats at the Inaugural Session on Friday, 25 August from 17:30 to 18:45, Room Amsterdam. Doors will open at 17:30. Seats at the front of the room are reserved for newly elected Fellows. The ESC President and other ESC leaders will formally welcome you to the FESC community.

Visit the ESC Shop to buy souvenirs, sportswear and more. As a FESC, you get 25% off at the ESC Shop and access to limited edition items to take home.

Go green: Bring your reusable water bottle

With plenty of sessions and networking, ensure you stay hydrated during the congress. There are water fountains throughout the congress centre for refilling your bottle.

Print your FESC Gold Badge before you leave home

To ensure you can access the ESC Congress venue as quickly and easily as possible, your FESC congress badge must be printed (preferably in colour) in advance and presented at the congress entrance.

Please note: digital versions of the badge on mobile phones, tablets and other devices will NOT be accepted.

Your badge will be available from 10 August in your My ESC account. Just log in, go to Congresses > My congress activity to come > Manage. 

Collect your gold FESC lanyard and congress bag

When you enter the congress centre through the main entrance, you will be able to collect your gold FESC lanyard and badge holder at the dedicated FESC Assistance Desk in the Welcome Area.
