More than 13,600 employees with very different responsibilities are united by the same goal: ensuring health and well-being.What to expectYou will work in one of the largest Heart and Vascular Centers in Germany with access to large and deeply phenotyped data sets within a stimulating, innovative and powerful environment for modern biomedical research and academic artificial intelligence (AI).The professorship is located in the University Center for Cardiovascular Sciences (UCCS) with a secondary appointment at the Center for Biomedical AI of the UKE (bAIome). The UCCS, which is currently being founded, is a research institute in the Medical Faculty of the University of Hamburg dedicated to interdisciplinary translational cardiovascular research. UCCS integrates into the existing structures of experimental and clinical cardiovascular research and enhances the translational capacity for cardiovascular research at The University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE). It offers access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure and excellent cooperation opportunities on campus. The bAIome, which is currently under construction, develops AI algorithms for biomedical applications (baiome.org). The bAIome hosts two Nvidia DGX-1 servers and one Nvidia DGX-A100 server.
