The Department of Cardiology of our university hospital looks for applications from interventional cardiologists who are interested in working in an academic hospital in Limoges (Nouvelle Aquitaine, France, a city of 250,000 hab with a catchment area of 900,000 hab). The position offered is full-time in adult cardiology, in order to complete the team of interventional cardiology (i.e. percutaneaous coronary angiography and interventions, as well as structural cardiology). Work in the cath lab includes elective/emergency cases (24/7). The department is composed of 72 beds, with 4 interventional laboratories (2 for interventional cardiology and 2 for EP), with a team of 12 senior physicians, 4 assistants, hosting 8-9 residents. In 2019, more than 2700 coronary angiographies and 1450 PCI have been performed. Complex procedures including CTO and intravascular imaging are also performed. This department is collaborating closely with the Dept. of cardiac surgery, within the same building inaugurated in 2019.

The candidate must be a citizen of an EC country, with a good level (be fluent) in French.
Limoges is at 3 hours of Paris and 2,5 hours of the Atlantic Coast. The quality of life is highly appreciated, especially for families.
