HoT Walk

A healthy event organized by the Heart Failure Specialists of Tomorrow (HoT). Last year, more than 150 nurses, students, scientists, physicians, relatives and many others interested in modern heart failure therapy met to participate in this guided walk in the streets of Paris. Therefore, many interesting conversations sparked about current heart failure treatments and innovations.

HoT Sessions

  • Revision and grading of clinical cases by senior faculty members and HoT members
  • Organization and chairing of several clinical and translational research sessions at the congress
  • Joint Heart Failure Specialists of Tomorrow (HoT) / Heart Imagers of Tomorrow (HIT) session on ‘Multimodality imaging in heart failure: already today, not tomorrow!’
  • HoT session with basic scientists : l earn about different approaches to basic cardiovascular research
  • Clinical challenging cases: Take the Wind Application with simulation of clinical cases

Travel Grant

This year 150 travel grants for HoT members were available: including free registration and 300 euros travel support to the congress.

Strict criteria were established in order to select the best candidates for HF Congress.

  • Mandatory criteria
    - HFA member and part of the HoT Community
    - Abstract submitter for HF 2018
  • Priority criteria
    - Age: under 30y. old (2points); between 30y.-40y. ( 1 point) ; over (0 point)
    - Profession: physicians (0 point); others categories (1 point)
    - Nationality: low income countries and Eastern/central Europe (5 points); Middle income countries (3 points); high income countries (1 points)
    - Abstract quality: over 7.5 (3points); between 6.6 and 7.4 (2 points); between 6.5 and 6 (1 point); under 6 (0 point)

Highest score: 11points.
