Oksana Sivakova, EAPC Young Ambassador from the Russian Federation:
“Being an EAPC Young Ambassador gives us an opportunity to bring preventive thinking and values to a new generation of cardiologists and other specialists in our countries, which makes lives longer, healthier and happier. Also, this is an opportunity to creatively unite young cardiologists in my country and make friends and cooperate with Ambassadors from other countries"
Vladimir Tuka, EAPC Young Ambassador from the Czech Republic:
“The EAPC is a wonderful, open community. The opportunity of being an EAPC Young Ambassador opens the door to the network of young experts in the world and helps in the communication with local authorities about preventive and sport cardiology.”
Stefan Busnatu, EAPC Young Ambassador from Romania:
“For me, it is a privilege to be the Romanian national representative of the EAPC Young Ambassadors group. This gives me the opportunity to be part of a young team of national representatives that work together towards promoting preventive cardiology strategies throughout Europe. By being supported and acknowledged by the EAPC network I am more empowered to promote preventive actions in my local environment.”
Abdelsalam Ben Saaud, EAPC Young Ambassador from Ireland
“It was an incredible honour to have been nominated as the EAPC Young Ambassador in Ireland. This role has offered me the unique opportunity to establish a national network of young researchers and healthcare professionals with an interest in preventive cardiology. I have had the privilege to meet with national peers and discuss their views on preventive cardiology, and address barriers and strategies for guidelines implementation. Also, it has been my sincere pleasure to participate in national cardiovascular meetings to promote the EAPC Young Community, and encourage the young scientists in Ireland to access the training opportunities provided by the EAPC. I believe this would help my national peers any myself to expand our knowledge and experience in setting up and delivering evidence-based preventive cardiology programmes, and contribute to the future development of cardiovascular disease prevention in Ireland and all Europe"
