Over 40 representatives from heart failure societies and working groups all over Europe will gather to take part in this highly interactive meeting aimed at addressing the needs of the National HF Societies and lay down the basis for cooperation amongst our societies.
A glimpse of the HFA Summit, held in Krakow, Poland on 4 November. Discussions focussed on how heart failure is treated in diffetrent countries, how to cooperate to improve management of patients and how to implement the ESC Atlas project. Full programme below.
Below, photos of the launch of the Polish National Programme of Prevention and Treatment of Heart Failure. The basis of this programme should be the change in the health care system by integration and improvement of hospital and out-patient care on different levels of their reference in order to reduce the morbidity and improve the diagnosis and treatment of heart failure.
