The International Affairs Coordinator has the responsibility to liaise, maintain and reinforce the cooperation and the relationship between EHRA and international partner organisations.
To better achieve the goal of reducing the impact of cardiac arrhythmias and the sudden cardiac death, EHRA has developed many programmes as well as important relationships with other scientific arrhythmia societies during the past years.
The activities involve the organisation of Joint Sessions with partner societies for our European and overseas congresses.
In addition, dedicated fellowship programmes are being developed by EHRA to intensify partnership and promote education in interventional electrophysiology and cardiac implants. These programmes are currently successfully running with Asia.
Also, EHRA offers strategic partnership in the field of education and certification: EHRA organized educational courses as well certification and examination courses are offered to our partner organisations. It is the task of the International Affairs Coordinator to set up such cooperation programmes according to the individual needs and expectations of our intercontinental partners. EHRA warmly invites basic researchers in electrophysiology, clinical arrhythmologist and interventional electrophysiologist to become EHRA members and thereby gain full benefits and access to all our clinical and educational tools.
