While the term "fellowship" is used to focus on the professional development of the fellow, we at EHRA seek not only to provide short term learning and training opportunities to our young and future leading community but also to reward and extend a range of privileges to a group of select professionals who have had years of experience and who have distinguished themselves individually in clinical, educational, organizational or other aspects of the cardiac rhythm field.
Recognising EHRA members who have made exceptional contribution in the field of Cardiac Rhythm and who merit a title that is based on professional scientific achievement.

The above FEHRA privileges and benefits, worth over €1 000 are included in the annual fellowship fee of €300.
The European Heart Rhythm Association introduced the status (title) “Fellow of the European Heart Rhythm Association” (FEHRA) in 2016.
Requirements to become a Fellow of the EHRA:
Please note that all supporting documents must be provided in English. All elements referred to here are mandatory. Therefore, the committee in charge of the selection will reject candidates who don’t supply all these elements.
When applying for the EHRA Fellowship online, please follow the procedure below:
Application should be made via the online submission system (no paper submission will be accepted). The application should be made electronically via the dedicated online system. The application must contain all above specified documents.
The application deadline is 31 October, year N for the EHRA Fellowship to be recongnised in year N+1. The newly elected FEHRA will be informed in December, year N for acceptance / rejection of application.
The newly elected EHRA Fellow should pay the fellowship fee before 28 February, year N. Thus, all FEHRA privileges, benefits and duties formally begin on 1 January, year N+1. Alternatively, the newly elected EHRA Fellow may pay the first fellowship fee immediately after reception of the notification by mail of the election as Fellow (i.e. for the Year N+1). In this case, the newly elected EHRA Fellow will benefit from EHRA Fellow privileges upon receipt of the payment.
Applications submitted after the annual deadline will not be considered by the Committee in charge nor by with the EHRA Executive Board. Complete applications only will be reviewed and the candidate is informed by email of the acceptance / rejection of the application.
The yearly fellowship fee is 250 Euros and covers the period of 1 January to 31 December. Newly elected FEHRA receive the request for payment in November. The request for payment is mailed and the payment must be received before 31 December to ensure the delivery of the EP Europace Journal early January (year N+1)
Payment should preferably be made online.
Therefore, once paid new Fellows start to benefit from the fellowship privileges. On 1 January, all advantages for fellows will be cancelled if the fellowship fee remains unpaid. After 2 years of non-payment of fees, consecutively or not, the fellow will be informed of his/her exclusion from the EHRA Fellowship, unless payment is received within 3 months, Reintegration of an excluded fellow in the EHRA fellowship register will be accepted upon payment of all due fees.
A”pay in order” principle applies: the Fellowship fee is due every year and one may only pay the fellowship fee of the given year, upon payment of the fee of the previous year.
FEHRA fees are due every year. Payments should be made by credit card, in Euros only through your MyESC account. Automatic renewal will be activated as of January 2018.
