Endorsement procedure


External Meeting Endorsement : Requirements & Procedure

EHRA will only consider endorsing meetings of EP National Cardiac Societies / EP Working Groups or other ESC bodies.

Endorsement for meetings organised by one National Cardiac Society/Working Group or more, is subject to consideration as long as they do not compete with EHRA's activities.

Step 1

Requests for endorsement should be made to Dr. Jose Luis Merino (Chair of the Education Committee) and be sent to the European Heart House secretary, by email to:

The following documents should be part of the request :

  • Proof that the event is organised by a National Cardiac Society and/or a Working Group or by any other ESC body.
  • Programme/preliminary programme (electronic or paper)
    1. The main focus of the meeting must be on electrophysiology (>75%)
    2. The programme must be Scientific (not Promotional) oriented
    3. The Programme must be directed by scientific committee (not by company)
    4. Speakers must be recognised leaders in the field (national or international)
  • Website/registration information of the event
  • A brief (10-15 lines) text outlining the theme and objectives (this text will be published on the EHRA website if endorsement is approved)
  • As organiser, you need to:
    1. Be a "Gold EHRA member" or a "Fellow of the European Heart Rhythm Association (FEHRA)"
    2. Pay a €250 endorsement fee for which you will receive an invoice
  • A cover letter or e-mail with a presentation of the local meeting

Step 2

Upon receiving the request, a preliminary evaluation and acknowledgement letter will be sent to the concerned with detailed actions to follow.

Step 3

Upon reviewing all information, EHRA sends:

  • A confirmation letter to the organiser
  • The association logo will be forwarded in a professional electronic format, along with the text that should go along the logo: "Meeting endorsed by EHRA, a registered branch of the ESC“.

Please note that EHRA requests to check any electronic or print information announcing the event, including preliminary or final programmes. 

EHRA will promote the endorsed event on its webpage, under the section: "Electrophysiology event calendar".
