Massimo Piepoli becomes Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology
The European Association of Preventive Cardiology (EAPC) is pleased to announce the nomination of Prof. Massimo Piepoli, Chief, Heart Failure Unit at Guglielmo da Saliceto Polichirurgico Hospital, Piacenza, Italy, as Editor in Chief of the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology. The handover will be completed by March 2017
An outstanding member of the preventive cardiology community, and active member of the Association since its creation, Professor Piepoli co-chaired the 6th Joint Task Force of the 2016 European Guidelines for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention in Clinical Practice, was involved in the EJPC editorial Board for ten years, and has a high track of publications records.
We strongly believe that Professor Piepoli’s vision, expertise and leadership qualities will be instrumental in strengthening our journal’s leading position in preventive cardiology.
