EACVI Excellence in Education Awardees

The EACVI has created “Excellence in Education Awards“ to recognise, highlight and encourage the dedication of outstanding educators in cardiovascular imaging.

Awards are presented in three categories:

  • Outstanding Early-Career Educator Award (<10 years since completion of training)
  • Distinguished Mid-Career Educator Award (10-20 years since completion of training)
  • Distinguished Master Educator Award (>20 years since completion of training)

2023 EACVI Excellence in Education Awards

The awardees for 2023 are:

  • Outstanding Early-Career Educator Award

  • Distinguished Mid-Career Educator Award
    • Associate Professor Chiara Bucciarelli-Ducci
  • Distinguished Master Educator Award

2020 EACVI Excellence in Education Award

For 2020, the EACVI Excellence in Education Awards Task Force 2020-2022 has decided to grant only one EACVI Excellence in Education Award posthumously to the late Professor Maurizio Galderisi as a recognition of his mentorship and valuable contribution to the education field.

The EACVI Young community together with some close friends of Prof. Galderisi's have created this video to celebrate what a wonderful person and educator he was.
