ACVC Rules of Governance: eligibility criteria
As announced during the ACVC General Assembly held in March 2024, rules of governance have now replaced the ACVC constitution (validated by the ESC Board on 25 August 2023). ESC Associations rules of governance are included in Annex V of the ESC Bylaws, approved by ESC Board in December 2024, and subject to some potential changes in July 2025 (as a result of a 2-year review as approved by 2022-2024 ESC Board).
Additionally, the ESC has approved the change of ACVC mandate timelines which will now run from ESC Congress 2026 to ESC Congress 2028, aligning with ESC mandate.
The ACVC election application process and voting will be carried out in accordance with these bylaws.
Voting Rights
The minimum seniority for ACVC Members to obtain voting rights is 6 months before the opening of the call for application. Only ACVC members having settled their dues 6 months ahead of an election (i.e when the call for applications opens) and still member when the voting platform opens, have voting rights.
