Peri-operative cardiac care of the high risk non-cardiac patient

Non-cardiac surgery is associated with an average overall complication rate of 7–11% and a mortality rate of 0.8–1.5%. Up to 42% of these are caused by cardiac complications. The aim of this course  is to increase awareness of the many areas in this topic, thereby improving patient outcomes in non-cardiac surgery.
